Bessie is a filmmaker working in London.
With a background in Fine Art, she currently works with researchers and educators to create thoughtful and accessible films that bring their work and impact to audiences across digital platforms and conferences.
Alongside this, she continues to pursue a personal documentary practice. Her work contemplates the everyday experiences of time and place. She is interested in the layers of information found within contemporary, digital and archival contexts that shape collective and individual memory.
She has produced films for clients including London College of Communication and the University of Bedfordshire, and her work has been shown at UK and European conferences.
